Q:What is Brielle Costumes?
Brielle Costumes is a small costume company owned by me, Brielle Ross. It is a one woman business and does not have a store front. Everything is done online via email communication. Custom orders are sewn and shipped out of an Oregon location in the USA.
Q:How much do your costumes cost?
Each costume is made with attention to detail with quality textiles. This takes time to cut, sew and build. Please contact Brielle for an exact price quote.
Q: How does the custom costume ordering process work?
The ordering process goes as follows. The customer and I chat about what kind of costume they are looking for via email conversations. Once the final design is decided the commission process can begin. I then request information to create an invoice for that order (Name, shipping address, email, etc...) After that the customer will receive an email that includes their invoice, measurement chart and a contract to sign. Payment will then be made so I can purchase supplies and start construction of the costume. After the costume is complete I will send the customer an email and any final payments can be made. The costume will then be shipped directly to the customer.

Q: Are your costumes eco friendly?
I try my best to use deadstock fabrics, fabrics from eco friendly stores or thrift shops. However, sometimes orders will require new fabrics to match colors or a character design. When this happens, I purchase the exact amount needed to avoid as little textile waste as possible. I also do my best to buy from local shops or fabric stores that offer eco friendly shipping. Another way I avoid plastic use is by purchasing industrial size thread spools (compared to standard sizes) which is basically like buying thread in bulk. All textile scraps are either recycled into other projects or given to other sewing humans who make quilts etc..
